So there is Good Friday and Resurrection Sunday, what's Saturday? I'm going with it's good too. So happy Good Saturday! Oh goodness, last night I went to my church's simulcast of David Platt's Secret Church . . . wow. It was like nothing I've ever done before. Thanks to two cups of choffee, my friends and I made it through the night, and I learned so so so much. I was telling a lady last night around 11:45pm how it was so much being thrown at me and God was just spilling over through David Platt, it is going to take a while to finally be able to begin absorbing it all. He was correct in saying that Secret Church is like drinking from a fire hydrant. Ha. It'll be a bit before I can get my thoughts together to share a little of what I learned throughout the six hours in the Word from last night, so today I'm going to leave you with a verse, that is so good on this "Good Saturday".

"He Himself bore our sins in His body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By His wounds you have been healed."
1 Peter 2:24 (ESV)
Let us fix our eyes on Jesus at all times, but especially this weekend and tomorrow. But also, know that the Cross is not meant to be thought of only on Easter Sunday once a year, it should be at the front of our lives every single day that we are alive. Jesus is the only way that we are alive right now, but if you have not trusted in Him and surrendered your entire life to Him, you are far from alive, you are still dead in darkness, unable to force yourself to come to life, and only through His death on the cross for us, but more so for the Father, is life and salvation from eternal darkness found.
